Embracing the past, present and future, this Seattle Soto Zen Temple will fill a void in the Buddhist cultural landscape of the Northwest. From the past, we derive an understanding of the need for ritual and sacred space, and we learn the structure of the spaces of the temple.

Visitors to the Temple will find connection to their ancestors and the history of Soto Zen, as they practice in a traditional way, experiencing the timeless link of history that sharing traditional ritual provides.
