New Beginnings for Battered Women and their Children provides crisis services, housing and counseling for victims of domestic violence. Their spaces need to be secure yet welcoming and they were designed to inspire courage and hope in both staff and visitors. The staff is proud of the colors and the playful spatial qualities of their new offices, and visitors have complimented them on the sunny atmosphere there.
