PLACE Architects assisted in feasibility analysis, programming and schematic design with the goal of renovating an aging Sandpoint firehouse into a community center for the Cascade Bicycle Club. The rejuvenated, light-filled building will contain classrooms and office space, state-of-the-art cycling and training facilities, café and flexible community space. Unprogrammed spaces will be available for lease to local businesses to make it an attractive destination for a diverse range of people in an effort to help bolster neighborhood commerce.
