PLACE was selected to design a major expansion of the Whidbey Island Center for the Arts. The program will include a new rehearsal hall, scene shop, back-of-house spaces, administrative offices, and an exciting new outdoor lobby that will highlight the entrance to Langley via Camano Avenue. Targeting LEED Silver, sustainable strategies as well as efficient and creative space-planning will greatly enhance the function of this community institution, while creating an exciting landmark for the City of Langley.
