PLACE architects was hired by A Regional Coalition for Housing (ARCH) to assist in a feasibility study with the goal of developing creative housing options that integrate neighborhoods and reinforce healthy communities through the introduction of Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs).

PLACE worked closely with eight private homeowners who participated in the study over a six week period--we documented their existing conditions and special needs, researched land-use restrictions and cost estimates, and drew up preliminary plans; all of which was compiled in an extensive report created under a very tight schedule and budget.
