Bothell Kitchen Remodel
The primary goals here were to increase functionality,
reduce maintenance, facilitate a more casual lifestyle and update
finishes and appliances. We demolished two walls to open up the
dark and cramped kitchen to an underutilized formal living room,
and separated them with an intimate breakfast bar and cook top to
allow for ease of workflow and social interaction. An island workspace
and upper-hanging, glass-faced cabinets separate the dining area
from the main kitchen space, allowing light from the kitchen windows
to illuminate the dining room and make it feel more accessible and
spacious.
